I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling / Education Specialist. I am currently pursuing licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor. Some of my Experience includes depression, anxiety, abuse (sexual, verbal, and physical), PTSD, domestic violence and anger management. I have worked with individuals, couples families and groups of varying ages.

I have found counseling others to be very fulfilling. The goal of therapy is not to “fix” the problem, rather to assist the client in creating “tools” to build a productive enjoyable life for themselves.

I have always enjoyed helping people since I was a young girl. Considering my own family history, and the support I have received from other therapists, friends, and various family members, I’ve always wanted to assist others in building support system within their own lives.

I am currently working on completing my masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I enjoy working with a diverse client population although I would like to specialize in working with individuals who have experienced domestic violence, childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault, family of origin problems and relationship difficulties.

I have seven years experience working in Social Services spectrum as a case manager, working with “at risk families and children” and other participants of Social Services. My passion for therapeutic services began when working hands-on with at risk children,  I have always wanted to assist others, provide self empowerment, and strengthen families. I have been providing therapeutic services since 2012 and continue to work towards my goal of gaining my license as a MFT.

My clinical focus includes Trauma Focused CBT, Solution-focused therapy, and Narrative focused therapy. I have experience in treating depression, anxiety, domestic violence, sexual abuse victims, victims of assault, couples conflict anger and child abuse
